This product is ammonia free, making it gentle on hair and scalp. It is available in three different volume levels: 15, 25 and 35 Volumes, all in a 900ml format. The volume level refers to the amount of hydrogen peroxide in the color activator. Hydrogen peroxide is an essential ingredient for hair coloring as it opens the cuticles and allows the color to penetrate inside the hair. Different volume levels are suitable for different hair coloring needs. Volume level 15 is the lowest and is suitable for lightening the hair by up to two shades. This volume level is ideal for tone-on-tone coloring or light lightening. Volume level 25 is medium intensity and is suitable for lightening hair by three to four shades. This volume level is ideal for permanent colouring. Volume level 35 is the highest and is suitable for lightening the hair by five or six shades.
